Wells Fargo online services...

Well, it's rather arrogance and stupidity... Here is what they force their customers to agree. No clue that they may be unwilling to give up paper trail. Red color is stressed by me. Simply put, forget about paper trail or we'll cut your online access.

Anyway, what do I want? These are the guys who used their customers Social Security Number as a login ID. If somebody does not know, that's one of the huge IT security blunders...

E-Sign Consent
On June 30, 2000, Congress enacted the Electronic
(Comment: What Congress got to do with their wish to cut expenses?)
Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-Sign Act) to ensure the legality of electronic contracts. Before obtaining products or services electronically through Wells Fargo Online® or Wells Fargo Business Online® services (collectively "Online Banking"), you must read and indicate your acceptance of the terms outlined below.

In this consent, "we," "us," "our" and "Wells Fargo" are used to refer to Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., its current and future affiliates whose account(s) and/or service(s) are obtained through Online Banking.

  1. Except for online statements, which requires an additional enrollment, all of the disclosures, records and other information being provided to you may, at Wells Fargo’s sole discretion, be in electronic form. Information provided in electronic form will not be distributed in paper unless you contact the customer service unit responsible for the particular product or service you are obtaining, and request a paper version of a particular document. You may be subject to a fee for such request unless prohibited by applicable law. Please refer to the applicable agreement for the fee that may apply. Please see your account statement for information about the appropriate contact. For deposit accounts, in those instances where you request a paper version of the Account Agreement, Fee and Information Schedule, Addenda, or Privacy Policy, the paper version will be mailed to you at no cost.
  2. Your consent covers all of your transactions relating to the product or service that you agree to obtain electronically.
  3. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time and at no cost to you. Please be aware, however, that withdrawal of consent may result in the termination of your access to Online Banking. If you have enrolled in the Online Statement Service, the termination will cause paper statements to be mailed to you via U.S. Postal Service.
  4. If you wish to withdraw your consent, you must contact the customer service unit responsible for the particular product or service you are obtaining. Please
see your account statement for information about the appropriate contact.
  5. In order to ensure that we are able to provide you with important notices and other information from time to time, you must update us with any change in email address. You may change the email address on record for you by going to the Account Services page and clicking "Add/Change Email Address."
  6. The following link includes the hardware and software requirements for access to and retention of the information being provided to you in electronic form: Hardware and Software Requirements. (Note: If you click on the Hardware and Software Requirements link, be sure to use your back button to come back to this page and complete this E-Sign Consent.)
  7. If a change in hardware or software requirements is needed in order for you to access or retain information being provided to you in electronic form, we will alert you of any revised hardware or software requirements that your computer will need to ensure ongoing access or retention. You will have the right to withdraw your consent at that time at no cost to you. Withdrawing our
consent will terminate your use of the product or service that you have agreed
    to obtain electronically.

Please indicate your consent to the above terms by clicking on the "I Agree" button below. By providing your consent, you also confirm that you are able to access all of the disclosures, records and other information provided to you in electronic form.
